I have long been fascinated by the links between psychology and food.

Hi, I’m Liz. I am a Level 3 qualified Nutrition & Life Coach, Fitness Instructor and Teacher of purestretch.

In my previous career as a teacher, my favourite subject by far was Psychology and I found working with my students on improving their eating habits (to aid concentration) very rewarding too. After having a career break to have a family, I decided to follow these passions and see where they would lead. My first port of call was to study nutrition but it soon became clear to me that there is more to health than just what we eat so I went on to study life coaching. Coaching has given me a framework to help people take ownership of their health and lifestyle goals for themselves and ultimately be free from the confusion and marketing misinformation that we are all bombarded with on a daily basis. I aim to help people to know themselves, their bodies and their habits better so that they can confidently make informed healthy choices every day. Using mindfulness techniques to understand our thoughts, feelings and actions can be a powerful tool in changing habits for good. The final piece of the jigsaw is the training I recently completed to become a purestretch Pro and teach classes to help you improve mobility and flexibility and guard against injury.
